This is my final project. I painted Jupiter with acrylic on canvas. It took me about two weeks to complete and I learned how to work with acrylic paints. It is a side view of the planet surrounded by space and other stars.
The fi,rst photo is the rough draft of this project and the second is the final. This project was to create a picture using just words. I chose to draw a planet out of the words space. I used marker to fill it in and I learned how to see things a different way.
This is the original image I was working from for my charcoal project. I was going to draw two pushpins, but in order to blow up the image enough, I had to crop one out and only draw one of them.
This is the final draft of the large charcoal project I was working on. I used different shades of charcoal to create a drawing of a pushpin. The paper was probably around 3x3 feet long, although I don't know exactly. I learned how to take a small object and blow it up into something very large and almost abstract. I also learned more about charcoal and how to properly blend it and make the image look realistic.
These three drawings were done with watercolor on paper. They are all self portraits and are very loosely done. I created a splatter affect with the paint and tried to incorporate many different colors into the pieces to create almost an impressionistic affect. Each of the portraits are of me but have different expressions on them.
